Elizabeth, “Betty”, 61 , long time resident of Rutherford passed away unexpectedly on May 7th, 2013.
Betty was born to the Late Edward C. and Margaret F.(nee Spadola) Brim in Rutherford
She was a beloved teacher in the Rutherford Public Schools and devoted her life to the children of Rutherford whom she loved; first as a teacher in Lincoln School and later Washington School.
She also enjoyed her trips to Disney World and loved Mickey Mouse.
Betty will be deeply missed by her loving husband and soul mate of 40 years, Henry “Buddy”. She tirelessly protected and unconditionally loved her children ; her son Bradley, her son Brian and his wife Jennifer & her beautiful growing grandchildren; Henry, Charlotte and Abigail, her sister Denise Geier and her husband Steve & her brother Edward Brim and his wife Deborah.
She leaves her nieces, Jodi, Susan and Jamie Ersalesi and Danielle Brown and her nephews; Jeff and Dennis Geier & Eddie and Ryan Brim.
Betty devoted her life to children; In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a children’s charity of your choice.
Family will receive friends on Thursday 7:00 to 9:00pm and Friday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00pm in The Collins Calhoun Funeral Home ,19 Lincoln Avenue, Rutherford.
