Michael Jay, age 57, of Rutherford,passed away on March 15, 2014. Beloved son of Lillian Johnson and the late Henry C Johnson. Loving brother of Cathy and Joe Baviello, Thomas Johnson, Robert and Karen Johnson and Elizabeth and Nadie Roshandel. Adored by his nieces and nephews, Kate and Jessie Baviello, Henry and Peter Johnson, and Quinn and Kian Roshandel.

Michael touched the lives of so many people. His kindness, generosity, and sense of humor are just a few traits that made him so special to all who knew and loved him. He was the first born son and big brother who was always there for us, an uncle who was adored because of his abilities to make each one of his nieces and nephews feel special, and a friend that you were lucky to have. He will be remembered by his big smile and even bigger heart.

Funeral Saturday 9:00am from the Collins Calhoun Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford followed by 10:00am Mass of Christian Liturgy in the Church of Saint Mary, Rutherford.

Private Cremation

Family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
