Obituary for Grace Lillian Noonan (Fox)
The angels came for Grace on January 13, 2015 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Grace Lillian was born in the Bronx, New York and moved to Rutherford, New Jersey where she lived with her family for over 40 years. Grace was involved in many associations and activities including the Rosary Society and St. Mary’s Hospital Volunteer. Grace’s children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the primary focus of her life. She never missed an event near or far.
Grace had a heart of gold and was one of the most compassionate people you could meet. We have lost a special woman who left the world a better place and the people that knew her, better people. She will be missed dearly.
Grace was predeceased by her beloved husband Timothy. She was a loving and devoted mother to Dennis (Mary), Timothy, Karen Agnes (Al), Lillian Marotta (Joe), Brian (Carol-Anne) and Grace Marotta (Brian). Loving Irish Grandma to Chris, Shawn, Patrick, Kelli, Nicole, Amanda, Al, Christopher, Joseph, Michael, Tanya, Jenna, Daniel, Timothy (TJ), Keri, Melissa and Brian. Lovingly referred to as La La Grandma, great grandmother to Leah, Carter, Tate, Mae, Amanda, Shea, Natalie, Anyssa, and Jackson.
The family would like to thank those that visited and cared for Grace over the last few months.
Funeral on Saturday 8:30am from the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Avenue, Rutherford for 9:30am Mass of Christian Liturgy in the Church of Saint Mary, Rutherford.
Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
Family will receive friends on Thursday 7- 9pm and Friday 2-4 & 7-9pm.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or to a charity of your choice.
