Obituary for Adela F. Soto
Adela F. Soto, 81, of Wallington, formerly of Rutherford, passed away Monday April 17th, 2017. Born to Armando & Adela Berbil in Cuba.
Young Adela married Francisco Soto 55 years ago, together they settled in Rutherford where they remained for 40 years. Adela received a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She then began a career in banking; employed with Chase Manhattan Bank and later with Trust Co. of NJ for 10 years, before retiring in 1988. She was a member of the Rutherford Elks #547 and volunteered for many years at 55 Kip Center, where she organized many trips.
Adela will be deeply missed by her loving husband Francisco, her brother Armando A. Berbil; her nephew Armando, her niece Iliet, and cousins.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, May 10th from 4 to 8pm in the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home. 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford.
