At the age of 4 1/2 I was part of Lorraine and Rob's wedding party, serving as their flower girl. I remember the special breakfast for the wedding party which I think was held in the apartment building where her father (my uncle) served as superintendent. The wedding mass was in a very large Catholic church (Union City, NJ?).

Lorraine and Rob bought a big Victorian house in Rutherford, NJ close to where other Monat & Housten family members lived. I remember all the work they put into making it their home. The family would gather each year late in the afternoon of Christmas Day for gift exchange. With the five children Lorraine and Rob had, there was a lot of activity and much excitement.

Many miles and years separated us until we were able to visit Lorraine in her Auburndale, FL home. It was almost like there were no decades separating us. Lorraine's quick wit and warmth made these visits a real pleasure for my husband and me. She took great pride in taking us to see "Rob's Window" at the Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale (a gift she had given in memory of her beloved husband). 

Lorraine's family can rest assure that she has been reunited with her loved ones in heaven.
