Mr. Billie Woodard, Jr., 73, of Rutherford, passed away suddenly with his loving wife Vanessa by his side on Thursday, July 6th 2017.

He was born to Billie Woodard,Sr. and Carrie (nee Todd) Woodard. He was one of 16 children.
Billie was a hard working individual who was employed with Finite Industries from it’s first day, then on to Scapa Tape in Carlstadt and Bio Compression Systems in Moonachie; with over 40 years of devotion to his employer. For those lucky enough to have known and work with Billie, he was thought to be a great man, someone you could count on, and one who would do anything for you.
As a hobby, he had a passion and enthusiasm for “Pick 3” & “scratch off” lottery tickets. He kept records of every number he ever played in a book. He also enjoyed spending time with his growing family; his children and grandchildren.
Billie will be deeply missed by his devoted companion and wife Vanessa (nee Green) Woodard of 30 years, his treasured children; Kathy Woodard, Karim Harrison, Shanai Woodard, his grandchildren, Darnell, TJ and many relatives & friends.
Family will receive friends and relatives on Monday from 4pm to 7pm in the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Avenue, Rutherford.
