Obituary for Patrick Thomas Dooley
Patrick Dooley 62, of Seneca, SC formerly of Rutherford, passed away December 17, 2017 after a brief but courageous battle with multiple myeloma. Patrick leaves behind his wife, Carol Calhoun; his son Sean and his loyal companion, Porter.
Patrick is also survived by his sisters, Mary L'Hotta and Kathy Ivins; his brother John and numerous nieces and nephews.
Patrick was born in New York and moved with his parents to New Jersey as a young adult. He and Carol lived in Rutherford, NJ for over 30 years. Patrick worked as the manager of regulatory reporting for Jersey Central Power and Light.
In 2014 Carol and Pat moved to Seneca, SC where they enjoyed swimming and kayaking on Lake Keowee. Pat also loved taking Porter on long walks and bird watching.
Services for Patrick will be private. In Pat's memory, please make a donation to the multiple myeloma research foundation 383 Main Avenue, Fifth Floor, Norwalk, CT 06851 or the charity of your choice.
