Christopher A. Bialek, 73, of Rutherford, passed peacefully on Friday December 22, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Passaic, NJ, to Joseph and Anna (nee Horvath) Bialek. Chris was a proud United States Army Veteran. After his retirement in 1991 from Thomas English Muffin Co. where he was employed for 28 years, he worked for the Rutherford Board of Education in the Transportation Dept.
Chris enjoyed the local sports teams; he was a past Rutherford Little League and Babe Ruth Coach, Junior Football Coach and past Vice President of Junior Football. In his spare time, he enjoyed going to Atlantic City.
Chris is survived by his loving wife Rachelle (nee De Martino) of 48 years, his adoring children, Christopher, Joseph and Rosann, his brother John, his brother-in-laws, Tom and wife Connie Keeler, Fred and Carol DeMartino and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother, Joseph Bialek.

Family will receive friends Tuesday December 26, 2017 from 4 to 8:00 pm.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Prayer Service on Wednesday December 27, 2017 at 9:45 am in the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home 19 Lincoln Ave. Rutherford, followed by a Committal Service in East Ridgelawn Crematory Chapel, Clifton.
