Thomas A. Gray, 69, a life-long resident of Rutherford, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018, after a brief illness. He was born in Rutherford to the late Arnold and Vera (nee Fattorini) Gray in 1948. He graduated from Rutherford High School and Lafayette College, where he was a member of the Theta Xi Fraternity. Tom was a proud United States Army Veteran. He had a strong passion for music. He sang with ARS Musica and supported numerous organ and choral events in the area. He remained engaged with Lafayette College. He was a life-long member of First Presbyterian Church of Rutherford, where he served as an Elder and was an active member of the Choir. Tom will be missed by his family of cousins, many friends and his beloved dog, Warwick.
Family will receive friends Friday 3-7pm in the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford and additional visiting Saturday 9am in the First Presbyterian Church,departing 10am for Interment in Arlington Cemetery, Kearny. Thereafter, A "Celebration of Life "Service will be held in the First Presbyterian Church at noon.
