Mildred Young (nee Smithson), 97, of Lyndhurst, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 30th, 2018.
Born in Jersey City to Edward and Frieda (nee Veith) Young in 1921. She was a long time member of the Lyndhurst Woman's Club and Riverside- Senior Club.

Mildred is predeceased by her husband Alvin L. Young and her three siblings, Edward, Edna and George. She leaves behind her three loving children, Alvin L. Young and wife Rita, Mildred Ricucci , Carolyn Bray and husband John, and 8 grandchildren.
A Prayer Service will begin at Noon on Friday in the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford, Rev. Samuel Weddington from United Presbyterian Church of Lyndhurst, officiating. Interment in Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst.
