Condolences

Condolence From: Dean Fink
Condolence: It is with profound sadness that I heard of the passing of one of my earliest friends. I think we were five years old when we happened upon each other. Ian and I lived blocks away from each other and took the bus to Central Secondary School together almost every day. We were in the Scouts together. I was the Sixer and he the Seconder of the Wolf Patrol. We lost touch after he moved to New York but reconnected a number of years ago. I had the great joy of meeting Ian again after many years when I visited New York with my grandsons. He was kind enough to give us a wonderful tour of St. Pats. We have maintained correspondence ever since. I knew he was ill but he played down the severity. Always the gentleman with a great sense of humour, he lived a life of accomplishment and distinction. I will miss him. Dean Fink

Condolence: Mr. D, I am so grateful we became family, "the homeless crew" after moving to CT. My heart broke to hear of your loss. My deepest sympathies to your family and dear friends. If heaven isn't already structure & ordered, it will be now. I am going to miss you, but you will nor could be ever forgotten.

Condolence: Ian, you were a wonderful work colleague and a dear friend. Always ready with a quip, a story and a solution to a dilemma. I will always be grateful to you for sponsoring me into the Order of the Holy Sepulchre. My sincere condolences to the Dowding Family. Ian was a great guy whom everyone loved. I will remember you and Ian in my prayers. Fondly, Joe Manzella
