Obituary for Robert Allen Spears
Robert Allen Spears, 61, of Rutherford passed away suddenly on October 7, 2018. Born in Paterson to Robert Spears & Mary (nee Wareham).
Robert was employed at Geller and Company in New York City for over 17 years, where he was a reporting manager in SAP BPC Systems. Robert was an outdoor man who loved fishing and exploring nature while riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He loved to travel and one of his favorite places to visit was the orchid room at Longwood Gardens in Philadelphia. Robert had a love for dogs among other things such as music, sports, and a bit of politics.
Robert will be deeply missed by his mother Mary (nee Wareham) Spears, sibling, Karen (nee Spears) Bodendorf; life partner Donna Katz, nephew Harold Fredrick Barrett III. He is predeceased by his father Robert Spears.
Family will receive friends for Memorial visiting Saturday from 12 to 1pm, in the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford. Prayer service to follow.
