Constance Marmarellis, 84, of Rutherford passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018. She was born to Thomas and Hazel Owens in The Bronx, NY.

Constance was an avid reader, very creative and artistic. She channeled her talent through arts and crafts and a career as a florist for 20 years. Constance had a very close and loving relationship with her niece, Susan. She was a mother figure to Susan who regarded Connie as her second mother...."I gotcha".
Connie was often known as the "favorite aunt". She was a fan of children's movies and would often "borrow" a child to accompany her to the movies.
Always cooking since High School, she enjoyed baking and was famous for her pineapple upside cake.

Constance is predeceased by her husband Edmund, as well as her sisters; Hazel Jokinen, Joan Kepfer and Patricia Newman, brothers; Thomas Owens, Peter Owens, Robert Owens and Dennis Owens. She is survived by her brother, Richard Owens and her devoted niece, Susan Hagidimitriou and husband Charlie along with numerous nieces and nephews.
