Condolence From: Michael O'Connor
Condolence: Sr. Bridget was my third grade teacher at St. Elizabeth's school in Wyckoff. She was later also my principal at that same school. I totally adored her. She had that Irish lilt and a wonderful mixture of charm, wit and candor. Third grade love is pure, and I totally loved her, even when she made me write 500 words on "The Life of a Peanut." She was always threatening to hit us with a "wet noodle!" We would laugh and laugh and laugh. She was also such a great math teacher. The best. I miss her tremendously and wish I had seen her in later years. One of the true loves of my life. You were such a good friend, Sister. If there is a heaven, you are there for sure. Fare thee well.

Condolence: Our family has been blessed when Sister Bridget O'Shea became principal of St. Mary's School, Dumont. Our sons were nourished in Faith, Hope, and Charity by her presence and by the staff she led. We have memories of dinners at home, visits with you when you left the school and our yearly Christmas greetings. Rest in peace dear Sister Bridget. You will always be in our thoughts and prayers. Do pray for us.
