The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Alexander Viecelli can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Billy C Cooke

It seems like only yesterday when I would watch the frenetic goings-on of a roomful of vital people... Alex, Joanie, Marian, Billy Hobler, "Cookie" Elizabeth, Ronny and my GrandMother, May... all discussing the thousand details regarding the Plan Of the Day with my GrandFather - The Old Man. Who's going where & who's doing what? In the crazy, colourful Carnival business "the show must go on" is more than just a fancy phrase... if you've ever been "with it" you know that that bunch of words soon become your Life. And if they don't - you're in the wrong business, mister - better get out! Fact, my Uncle Alex was a Show Owner for more than half a century... he, unequivocally was in the right biz! His longevity in the industry was due to sheer hard work & honesty. Truth to tell, he did all this while at the same time he and his Wife raised a wonderful family of good, decent children. That's special. To my Viecelli Cousins... my deepest condolences, I know the loss of your Father and Mother is very difficult to bear right now... but never forget and always remember the fabulous Life they SHARED with each one of you. Yes, indeed... there were a lot of long and darn good seasons. That's gold! God bless you all. Rest In Peace, Uncle Alex ~ Billy C Cooke
